Helping Ukrainian refugees

The NGO «Chervona Ruta» has provided necessary support and protection for temporarily displaced persons in the town of Vyzhnytsia. The «Chervona Ruta» social initiative involves 20 people on a permanent basis, 15 of them are internally displaced people from Kyiv 💙

🎯 Thanks to the support provided by the Shelter Ukraine project, the «Chervona Ruta» team was able to help 332 people who were affected by the war and were forced to flee their homes. Among the purchased goods were food, blankets, utensils and the most necessary household appliances (electric stove, multicookers and kettles).

Thanks to the purchased goods, internally displaced persons were able to better organize their cooking process. Before, there was only 1 electric stove in the shelter of LLC «Ukrainian Green Technologies» where 52 people live. Now there is another stove and 4 multicookers. In the dormitory of the college, where 160 people live, it was possible to cook once in one hour, because there is only one equipped kitchen. Thanks to the grant, they received 15 multicookers and 2 sets of dishes, which were given to families 💡

The Nazarii Yaremchuk Vyzhnytsia Specialized Boarding School of I-III Degrees, Vyzhnytsia Institution of General Secondary Education of I-II Degrees and the Chornohuziv Institution of General Secondary Education have canteens that prepare food for those who live in the respective institutions but they work only on weekdays. Therefore, additional multicookers and electric kettles will be useful for internally displaced persons 🙏🏼

🔹New blankets (150 pieces) completely covered the shelters’ need for warm blankets. Oil and pasta belong to the category of food that is always in high demand. Residents of the shelters received them following the stated needs.

We are grateful to the team of the public organization «Chervona Ruta» and all those who help people affected by the Russian military invasion of the territory of sovereign Ukraine. We are strong and we will overcome everything. Together to victory! 🇺🇦
