Shelter Ukraine helped 700 IDPs in Petrykivskyi District

From the beginning of the war, reception centers for displaced persons from places where fierce hostilities continue, were organized in Petrykivska rural territorial community.

💙 The Shelter Ukraine initiative supported the activity of the Charitable Fund of Petrykivskyi District "Yednist (Unity)", which takes care of displaced citizens and ensures their provision. Thanks to the help received from Shelter Ukraine and Razom For Ukraine, 700 displaced families received food packages (oil, sugar, flour, cereals, pasta, tea, canned goods).

There are already 2,396 internally displaced persons living in the families of local residents and municipal institutions of the community, of which 436 are girls and 274 are boys under the age of 18. There are currently 65 orphans living in the hostel. In general, all these people came to Petrykivka from the occupied territories and places of active hostilities in our country such as Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions 📍

We thank our partners, who do not stop providing assistance to our citizens affected by the war 💙💛
